The only big quality of life mod that you left out is the 3g alternator upgrade. Easy to install and dramatically improves/simplifies electrical.

My 2015 still has a sexy body. You still need to waxoil the box frame. 106000mi and nothing but a 6000mile maintenance. Runs same as the day I bought it.

The detroit 6.2 idi was pretty amazing. Fuel mileage was awesome, weight to power ratio was not great, that is why it was reliable.

My co worker has the same year and his is perfectly fine. He never rustproofed it. There is surface rust on the frame though.
